Constitution Party of Wisconsin: The ISIS Reality

From a CPoW email blast:

If ISIS-ISIL isn’t Islamic, then we will never have peace

“Let me not be ashamed O Lord, for I have called on thee:
let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.” Psalms 31:17

By Riley J. Hood-CPoW State Chairman

I read Obama’s “Use of Force” request. It was hard to wade through the nonsense, but it is necessary to voice a proper response regarding the Islamic menace and Obama’s speech, I have selected a few of the problematic quotes.

“At this moment, the greatest threats come from the Middle East and North Africa, where radical groups exploit grievances for their own gain. And one of those groups is ISIL — which calls itself the ‘Islamic State.’ ISIL is not Islamic.”

Sure, and Amway isn’t a pyramid scheme. ISIL rigorously does what Allah commands and does what Muhammad did. That makes ISIL Islamic.

“No religion condones the killing of innocents, and the vast majority of ISIL’s victims have been Muslim.”

While Islam claims not to kill the innocent, their ideas of criminality are flawed. For example, if you are Christian, Jewish or resist Sharia in anyway, then you are an infidel who is imposing your will upon them, and you must be put to death.

“This counter-terrorism campaign will be waged through a steady, relentless effort to take out ISIL wherever they exist, using our air power and our support for partner forces on the ground. This strategy of taking out terrorists, who threaten us, while supporting partners on the front lines, is one that we have successfully pursued in Yemen and Somalia for years. And it is America that is helping Muslim communities around the world not just in the fight against terrorism, but in the fight for opportunity, tolerance, and a more hopeful future.”

The word “success” is the last word I would use to describe our policy in Somalia and Yemen. Furthermore, it is long-term stupidity to arm any Islamic nation or group. Yesterday’s “Islamic friends” become today’s Islamic enemies with consistent regularity. The Islamic communities around the world hate America, hate America’s help, and see no difference between the United States and United Nations. All the money in the world will never buy “Islamic Friendship.” Only a deluded idiot would strengthen one’s enemies. However, Obama is a sharpie, so the only conclusion is that America’s leader is a traitor.

The Special Forces could start arming and teaching Christians how to fight for themselves and defend their families, and stand for their lives; but that thought never enters their politically correct minds.

“That is the difference we make in the world. And our own safety — our own security — depends upon our willingness to do what it takes to defend this nation, and uphold the values that we stand for — timeless ideals that will endure long after those who offer only hate and destruction have been vanquished from the Earth.”

If Islam is not identified as the enemy and destroyed, then Islam will continue to breed “terror groups” such as the PLO, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, Al-Shabaab, and Boko Haram, long after they have conquered America. Muslims call non-Muslim’s the Dar Al-Harb, the House of War. They mean to destroy us, so we had better come to grips with the fact that this system must be eliminated. We don’t have to shoot them all, but we must destroy their will and destroy the concept of Allah in their minds.

Seems like a strange hobby, but whatever floats your boat.

  2. Cody Quirk March 8, 2015

In order to keep pissing off closet homosexuals like Don Grundmann 😉

  3. paulie March 8, 2015

Many CP’ers obviously are in no way ‘constitutionalist’.

That’s been more than amply demonstrated more than enough times in various threads here; what’s the point of belaboring it?

  4. Don J. Grundmann, D.C. March 8, 2015

    J. R. – I hope that I am fortunate enough to meet you some day as you are a hard worker tilling the fields to save our nation. This is in total opposition to an actual and real ” despicable Pharisee ” like Quirk who shouts from the rooftops of what a Mormon he is and then works at every possible opportunity to A) defend the Homosexual/Sodomy Movement; advertised as ” LGBT,” from any criticism of any type no matter how monstrous and horrific their actions are, and B) attack anyone such as myself or Riley Hood, an extremely hard working and admirable defender of our Republic, who challenge their perversion, degeneracy, corruption, and pathology. Riley and I can work to defend the children of the nation from being mentally, emotionally, and spiritually molested ( much less and before they are physically attacked ) with the confidence that Quirk and many of his fellow freaks on this forum will attack us in every possible way.

You rightfully write of self-defense but you can always tell a Death Person; i.e; a true believer in and lover of abortion, by their never ending claim ( which can be seen above and in additional variations ) that pro-lifers only care about children before birth. A total and fantastic lie of course but since they are never ending liars whose Master is the Father of Lies what is new???

I appreciate you as an honest and honorable man working in service to our nation as compared to a total fake like Quirk whose only ” work ” is to continuously backstab the CP when he himself has done nothing in the past nor currently to aid the conservative, or even national, movement in any way; his only ” claim to fame ” being his totally fake ” Clarion Call ” which was in reality an endeavor to DIVIDE the 3rd party conservative movement rather than to UNITE it.

May God bless you in your continued endeavors.

Don’t be discouraged at all. Just keep on keeping on and God will bless our work. I know how hard it is to build a party. Quirk knows nothing, does nothing, and has done nothing. Wherever he goes he screws things up and backstabs those who fail to see what a walking poison/scorpion he is. He will NEVER stop attacking the CP but such is life. There are many fake humans who simply exist to be ” energy sucks,” parasites whose chosen task is to screw up everyone else and suck the life out of them to replace the life which they no longer have. Vampire is another term for the phenomenon. We overcome despite all of the aspiring, and real, demons who oppose us.

  5. Cody Quirk March 8, 2015

Another thing- you give support to a CP leader that not only disregards what the founding fathers said about religious liberty and the dangers of sectarianism (especially Thomas Jefferson), but also wants to eradicate a whole religion world-wide!

Yet what does the First Amendment say? What does Article 6 para. 3 say? What does the Fourteenth Amendment say?

Many CP’ers obviously are in no way ‘constitutionalist’.

  6. Cody Quirk March 8, 2015

“How am I supporting the violation of the CP platform? Also, I am defending our legitimate right to self defense.”

    http://www.constitutionparty.com/foreign-policy/

“The United States is properly a free and sovereign republic which should strive to live in peace with all nations, without interfering in their internal affairs, and without permitting their interference in ours. We are, therefore, unalterably opposed to entangling alliances – via treaties, or any other form of commitment – which compromise our national sovereignty, or commit us to intervention in foreign wars…”

“Since World War II, the United States has increasingly played the undesirable role of an international policeman. Through our involvements abroad our country is being changed from a republic to a world empire in which our freedoms are being sacrificed on an altar of international involvement. The United States is now committed by treaty to defend foreign nations in all parts of the world, and by agreements other than treaties to defend more. Therefore, we call upon the President, and Congress, to immediately commence a systematic withdrawal from these treaties and agreements, each of which holds the potential to plunge America into war in some far-flung corner of the earth. NATO, for instance, serves no defensive purpose for the United States, and this country should withdraw from it.”

“Since World War II, the United States has been involved in tragic, unconstitutional, undeclared wars which cost our country the lives of many thousands of young Americans. These wars were the direct and foreseeable result of the bi-partisan interventionist policy of both Democrat and Republican administrations.

The Constitution Party is opposed to the continuation of the same interventionist policy, with that policy’s capacity to involve our country in repeated wars.

    We demand that:

    *never again shall United States troops be employed on any foreign field of battle without a declaration of war by Congress, as required by the United States Constitution;
*Congress refuses to fund unconstitutional, undeclared wars pursuant to presidential whim or international obligations under which American sovereignty has been transferred to multi-national agencies.”

“The Constitution Party has consistently opposed American involvement in conflicts in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Central and South America. The United States has no interest in these areas which would justify the sacrifice of Americans on foreign battlefields – nor is our country properly cast as a merchant of death in international arms races.

We propose that the United States

*repudiate any commitment, express or implied, to send U.S. troops to participate in foreign conflicts, whether unilaterally, under NATO auspices, or as a part of the United Nations “peace-keeping” operations; and
*cease financing, or arming of belligerents in the world’s troubled areas.”

    HELLO?!

“P.S. As to the 2014 Alaska Gubernatorial Election, there were so many factors that entered into that historic race that I find your comments curiously amusing.”

And yet despite getting a ton of pissed off, tea-party oriented GOP’ers & AKIP dissidents on board with your party- you still couldn’t meet the 3% threshold, while that libertine anarchist Libertarian Party sure did.

    Pathetic.

  7. J.R.Myers, ACP Chairman March 8, 2015

    Cody,

How am I supporting the violation of the CP platform? Also, I am defending our legitimate right to self defense. What do you advocate? Here’s the CP platform on Defense.

    http://www.constitutionparty.com/defense/

    Defense

“The very purpose of Government”, as defined in the 2nd paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, is

“to secure these [unalienable] rights, Governments are instituted among Men“, “that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.“

To fulfill this obligation, the Preamble of the Constitution states one of the duties specifically delegated to the Federal Government is to

    “Provide for the common defense“.

US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Clauses 11 – 16 give Congress further direction and authority in this area, including the power

“To raise and support Armies” and “To provide and maintain a Navy“.

It is a primary obligation of the federal government to provide for the common defense, and to be vigilant regarding potential threats, prospective capabilities, and perceived intentions of potential enemies.

We oppose unilateral disarmament and dismemberment of America’s defense infrastructure. That which is hastily torn down will not be easily rebuilt.

    —-

P.S. As to the 2014 Alaska Gubernatorial Election, there were so many factors that entered into that historic race that I find your comments curiously amusing.

  8. Cody Quirk March 8, 2015

J.R.Myers, what’s sad is that you not only support violating your party’s own plank on foreign interventionism, but that you’re defending a despicable Pharisee like Riley Hood.

No wonder why Alaskans rejected giving the CP ballot access there.

  9. NewFederalist March 7, 2015

William… I think you are being a bit too literal in this instance.

  10. NewFederalist March 7, 2015

Then I would agree with you 100%!

  11. langa March 7, 2015

How about if the nest was located a few thousand miles from where you live?

  12. NewFederalist March 7, 2015

Depends on where the nest was located.

  13. langa March 7, 2015

We must rise in boldness to protect our lives and liberties against the initiation of force by others.

If you walk up to a hornets’ nest and start poking it with a stick, and proceed to get the shit stung out of you, who initiated force: you or the hornets?

  14. Jill Pyeatt March 7, 2015

    I agree with Jed.

I also find it interesting that none of us really heard about ISIS until the PTB realized that none of us were very scared of Al-Qaida anymore. I think ISIS is just the latest boobeyman to keep us at war.

  15. Jed Ziggler Post author | March 7, 2015

When has ISIS attacked anyone within our borders or our territories’ borders? Is such an attack imminent? If the answer is no, then we have no right to go to war against ISIS. ISIS attacks us when we’re where we shouldn’t be in the first place.

  16. J.R.Myers, ACP Chairman March 7, 2015

We have the right to defend ourselves, our friends, families, neighbors, co-workers, communities, states and nations from those who have declared themselves our mortal enemies. Sharia is antithetical to our Constitutional Republic, and to our civilization. We cannot compromise with those who relentlessly seek our subjugation and destruction. We must rise in boldness to protect our lives and liberties against the initiation of force by others. Our enemy is maniacal and does not rest.

  17. Cody Quirk March 7, 2015

Good ole’ fundamentalist double-standard- we’re Pro-Life as long as you’re not a heathen or atheist.

  18. Jill Pyeatt March 6, 2015

“AC said: :This is the same party that touted its nominees as “100% pro-life” during the last election, of course.”

Good observation. This is a pet peeve of mine. I don’t think people should call themselves pro-life unless they value ALL lives–even brown people in other countries.

  19. Andy Craig March 6, 2015

“We don’t have to shoot them all…”

Well isn’t that generous of you. This is the same party that touted its nominees as “100% pro-life” during the last election, of course.

“…we must destroy their will and destroy the concept of Allah in their minds.”

Sounds a lot better coming from a medieval Pope. Though I think CPoW would be offended by the comparison to godless Papists.

And yes, the national CP’s platform is explicitly anti-war and non-interventionist. It’s one of their few redeeming factors, and why they told Alan Keyes to bugger off.

  20. Cody Quirk March 6, 2015

Ironically the CP is supposed to be against foreign interventionism. I guess this is an exception due to the religious nature of the subject.
