A SurveyUSA poll on the Kentucky gubernatorial race shows that independent candidate Drew Curtis, founder of news aggregator Fark.com and author of “It’s Not News, It’s FARK: How Mass Media Tries to Pass Off Crap as News,” is drawing eight percent against Democrat Jack Conway (43%) and Republican Matt Bevin (38%). Curtis drew six percent in a Public Policy Polling survey last month.
Curtis, who is running with his wife Heather as his running mate, has until August 11 to submit 5,000 valid petition signatures to get on the ballot in November.
