Earlier today former LNC Chair (2006 – 2010) William (Bill) Redpath declared that he will seek the position of Treasurer of the Libertarian National Committee for the 2024 -2026 term, in an election to be held at the Libertarian National Convention over Memorial Day weekend in Washington, DC. He has twice previously served as LP Treasurer (1991 – 1993, and 2003 – 2004).
Bill, who joined the Libertarian Party on 30 April 1984, is the current Chair of the Libertarian Party of Illinois, and is an eight-time Libertarian candidate for public office (six times in Virginia, and twice in Illinois), most recently as the US Senate nominee in Illinois in 2022.
Bill is most well-known for his work on Libertarian Party ballot access. He is the current National Ballot Access Coordinator for the Libertarian Party, and a member of its Ballot Access Committee. Since he became involved with ballot access efforts with the LNC in 1990, the LP has had a presidential ticket on the ballot in all 50 states and DC, in five of the last eight presidential elections. He also is co-Editor, with Richard Winger, of Ballot Access News and www.ballot-access.org.
Bill is a member of the Libertarian Party Hall of Liberty, having been inducted with Ron Paul in 2016.
He holds an Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago, and a BA degree in Economics and Political Science from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Mr. Redpath recently retired from a 38-year-long career in the business valuation of media and telecommunications concerns. He holds an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Illinois, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and holds an Accredited Senior Appraiser (retired) in Business Valuation designation from the American Society of Appraisers.

This is evidenced by the fact that the MC-dominated LNC chose not to vote for him to fill a vacant at-large position on the board.
I am assuming, per other comments, that Bill is not a Mises Mice? That said, per other comments, he does have to actually be elected.
If Bill Redpath is elected the financial matters of the Libertarian Party will be in good hands.
