Response – I must presume that your terms of ” coercive means,” ” anti- market policies,” ” and anti-market solutions ” refer to the Arizona law which impliments already existing federal law. Can protection of the middle class workers of America from the collapse of their wage structures via the attack upon them by illegal immigration truly be called in any sense ” anti-market?” If so the best ” market ” policy would be slave labor wages of $1.00/day at best as a standard wage scale for American workers. when parties begin to favor demographics by race, we all lose. Hispanics are the fastest growing demographic because of manipulation by global forces. If we fail to regulate (control) it, we could (are) just have the electorate replaced with another that favors or doesn’t care about the rights we now enjoy. America does not need a singular racial demographic to ensure freedom. If Hispanics were so predisposed to freedom, why are they not as free and politically active in Latin America? I’ll go another step and ask why is oppression more prevalent in latin american countries than it is here?

In advocating for A) the protection of the working class from the driving down of wages caused by ILLEGAL immigration, B) the implimentation of laws which are already on the books to control ILLEGAL immigration, and C) the implimentation of laws which are far less onerous than the very law of Mexico itself which severely punishes ILLEGAL immigration into its nation establishes REAL AIP candidates like Chelene Nightingale, as compared to fakes like Ed Noonan, as in touch with the political desires of the majority of the populace in addition to the concept of actually FOLLOWING THE LAW as written and not ignoring it for the gain achieved by political pandering. What Gene said, plus the fact that as soon as a “Constitution Party” candidate makes it clear that she doesn’t understand that the Constitution gives the federal government ZERO authority to regulate immigration, the label is immediately discredited.
Chelene Nightingale does sound like a pro-freedom candidate…until she starts advocating more government to deal with an issue the government has already made worse: the immigration issue.
Good luck to her on her campaign, but her party has decided to write off the fastest growing demographic in the state.
Many Hispanics support limited government, and Lydia Gutierrez was the most pro-American candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction in last Tuesday’s election. Few will consider the American Independent Party because the AIP sees government as preferable to pro-family Hispanics, and AIP leaders fail to understand that a free market approach would result in fewer long-term problems than the restrictionist approach they take.
