Greens run jailed activist for U.S. House in Michigan

Benton Harbor Black Autonomy Network of Community Organizers leader Edward Pinkney, a minister who is “serving a three- to 10-year prison term for a probation violation stemming from an election fraud conviction,” has been nominated by the Green Party in the Michigan Sixth District U.S. House race, the party announced. A Pan-African News Wire story from July has more on Pinkney’s incarceration.

Rev. Pinkney Sentenced to 3-10 Years for Quoting Scriptures

Judge says references to Deuteronomy was threatening

    WTF??

This has the makings of a really good campaign slogan.

It would be interesting to see the reasoning or context behind the corrupt judges actions.

Since when did the quoting of scripture become threatening? Maybe when quoting the Koran became threatening?

Corrupt officials need to get over themselves.

    PEACE

Well, it is argued by many that Pinkney is an jail because he stirred up too much trouble for the white ruling class in and near Benton Harbor.

Then again, it’s ever so much more entertaining to make comments without actually reading the story behind the story.

Well, I always thought most congressmen belonged in jail so maybe this is a good way to cut out the middleman.
