Now I’m Jill-come-lately to looking at Astrology charts of these events but you don’t have to look for long to be aware that April 15, 2009 is the day of the cyclic conjunction of Mars and Uranus, together the revolutionary pair.
Not surprisingly, “a new American revolution” is a phrase being bandied about concerning 2009’s ‘Tax Day Tea Party’ and, of course, Mars and Uranus form a wide conjunction in Gemini in the US natal chart of 1776 (8 and 22 Gemini.)
The article later goes on to say,
Plus, you probably know of the political party formed as the ‘Boston Tea Party’ as an ideological improvement on the Libertarian Party, and whose platform is based on Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty. The whole Tax Day Tea Party shebang is based on their lead, it seems.
My fret is that their platform to abolish practices which do need abolishing (such as warrantless searches and surveillance, and establishing a total withdrawal of US troops from all nations, and a well-deserved audit of the Federal Reserve) – while they sound good – may be part of a disguised attempt to abolish our nation’s sovereignty and thus promote the same old NWO agenda. Tiresome not to know whom to trust, isn’t it?

For the other 70%, and perhaps more since the patriotic fervor of 2001-2002 was used to encourage Americans to be more obedient, here is another opportunity inspired by Bartleby the Scrivener. Write on your tax form, “I would prefer not to pay for your war machine.”
Or, if you love warfare, write, “I would prefer not to pay for your bailouts of your buddies in big business.”
Or if you love both warfare and big subsidies for big business, write, “I would prefer not to pay for your welfare state.”
Or, if you love warfare, corporate welfare, and subsidies to keep everyone else impoverished, then may your chains weigh heavily upon you, may they chafe and bind, and may history forget you were ever our countryman.

Here’s another idea…many cities are holding marijuana legalization rallies on or around April 20 (4/20)…if your area has one, the Tea Parties are a great place to promote or organize for it.

Can’t we all just get along? The whole point is that none of us like the government’s tax and spend policies, and object to it. Simple enough?
The bigger and the more diverse the better. This isn’t about ‘party’ or who started what or who has an ego and who does not.
Please don’t play divide and conquer with us, we don’t like it. We are all Americans who have a voice. Lets use it as one voice for once wihout worrying about who started what.
Maybe also something along the lines of “No more money for border walls”

I think it is so interesting that the right is doing the big tax day protest. This is the stuff of peace protesters and the War Resisters League.
Now, some of what the Tea folks believe in, I don’t. And, some of what they are arguing against, I don’t want to argue against.
So, I don’t think I will necessarily promote this event, or try to get progressive organizations to sign on.
But, heck, our government stinks. And, they stole our money and gave it to the banks. And, they drain our salaries for their wars of imperialism.
So, instead of mocking or thwarting a gathering of angry citizens, just because those citizens are more right wing than us, I think folks on the left should just seize the moment and show up at these tea parties with their own signs.

I’m excited by the idea that national sovereignty should be understood to DEPEND on warrantless searches and wiretaps and foreign occupation of 805 bases in 160 countries (which Ron Paul’s people tell me does not include any embassies!). I had no idea that national sovereignty was so fragile.
No, the Boston Tea Party is not a new world order outfit. It is simply what it says it is on its web site: a group of people who want less government at all levels.
All levels includes international. I want to see less government at the international and multinational levels. No North American Union. A smaller and less intrusive European Union. A smaller or no UN.
But, personally, I don’t give a flying flip about national sovereignty. I care about individual sovereignty, which is clearly worth having.
