IPR correspondents will have the opportunity to interview candidates for various internal and external offices here at the Libertarian National Convention.
So far, I have been told that Judge Jim Gray will be made available (depending on his schedule) and James Burns also offered to be interviewed, but many other potential interviewees are here.
Please suggest questions for the candidates and which candidates they are for in the comments. Please keep in mind that we will not necessarily be able to interview everyone we would like to, but we’ll do our best.
As the nominee, what will you do differently than Bob Barr did in 2008?
personally I will not be asking birther bullshit questions. Other IPR writers are free to do so if they wish.
1. Where were you born?
2. Were your parents born Americans, or were they naturalized later in life? If the latter, when?
3. Do you have documentation to back up your answers to 1) and 2) ?
it is possible I might be able to talk to Gov. Johnson, but less likely.

Question to each candidate: Given that the Libertarian Party has, in 40 years of presidential election efforts, obtained one (1) electoral vote (1972) and 1.1% of the national popular vote (1980), what will you do in your campaign to maintain close adherence to the principles of individual liberty upon which this party was founded?
Question to each candidate: Given the importance of activists in the Libertarian party for its continued success in obtaining ballot access, creating county-level organizations, and finding supporters at local events, would you, as the presidential nominee for the party, be in favour of restoring the previously-consolidated regions so that more activists are represented on the national committee?
Question to each candidate: The success of the two major political parties in the United States appears to be keyed to the fact that out of roughly 3,033 counties (or parishes, or townships) in the United States, each major party has active affiliates in over 2,500 counties. At the county level, the registrar of voters and the county clerk administer elections, the tax assessor-collector administers property and sales taxes, and the sheriff is often the highest law enforcement authority. Given this impressive array of powers, what would you do as the presidential nominee of the LP to encourage the development of more county level Libertarian affiliates?
