One of the many Libertarian election candidates running for office this year that have appeared on the new party online radio show is Sean Haugh. The LP’s nominee for US Senate is one of those rare candidates that, for one reason or another, has an infectious quality about him that could probably be chalked up to simple, old fashioned likability. The longtime resident of Durham, North Carolina gives a brief example in his candidate profile. Describing his 1988 return to the area he says, “I love living in Durham in part because it’s a lot like living in Tulsa without having to live in Tulsa anymore.”
Sean Haugh tells potential voters that he doesn’t align himself with any particular organized religion. But he concedes he’s still an Oklahoma Sooners fan, which he says, “is pretty much the same thing.” Describing his family life, the candidate again uses humor to describe what many Americans can surely identify with. Along with his wife Pam, the couple’s family includes one dog and four cats. “All strays who found us,” Haugh proudly affirms.
