We’ve started using the old IPR theme at IPR-X
Yeah, not really a fan of the new-new theme.
What in the bloody helle has been done to this website? It’s a total mess.
Ron Paul Caesar: Sorry, I can’t even do that for my own comments. Rumor has it that there will be a transfer to a new server, at which point matters may well improve.
Mr Phillies, can you give us the ability to embed YouTubes and images in the comments?
LNC Spends Money on Ballot Access
From the LNC ExComm minutes. The motions passed without objection.
Mr. Bowen moved that the LNC disburse funds in the amount of $15,000 to the Libertarian Party of Illinois for ballot access use when 12,500 signatures have been secured and an additional $15,000 upon reaching 28,750 signatures (115% of the minimum threshold).
Ms. Harlos moved to encumber $5,000 for New Hampshire ballot access to be released immediately to the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire.*

Why did you post that? Aren’t you aware Ginsberg was a member of NAMBLA?

Carol, You are right on identification, though I gather that this change is one of the things that is someplace down the list of improvements. I am told that the expected form is that you do not have to make your email address public, but we need to know what it is.
George: the page does look a lot better.
My webhost went out of business end of November just before my hands went bad so secession.net, carolmoore.net and a couple others still down. And I have to learn wordpress all over again since they made it SOOOO much more complicated since I first used it. Frustrating. Not up physically to do it for another few weeks anyway.
I did note you did not want to verify via email that this really IS me or some poseur. Probably something else that’s a bit difficult to figure out. Sigh… So I guess I’ll have to keep my eyes open.
I am not aware that anyone changed his status. Certain I didn’t.
He appears as I type to be a subscriber.
Milnes banned again? Really? What triggered it this time?
Robert Milnes says he has been banned from IPR and is calling for a boycott of IPR and for all IPR functions to be transfered to IPR-X.

Only June 11th and Mises national LP has SO MUCH good press. Staffers are quiting because of it. How many LNC members will flee next? How do I leave a meme here of just the first week’s bad press. (At least American Rennaisance was happy about it. ha ha ha) Anyway, keep on the dirt. https:/twitter.com/misesEXPOSED
none of your business: Excellent point. I suspect it is simple to fix once we get a wordpress expert on it.

“It’s official: I’m running to be the next U.S. Senator from New Hampshire as a member of @LPNH
End the fed.
End every war.
Stop corporate welfare.
Abolish the IRS.
New Hampshire independence.
I’m serious!”
The only functionality I have noticed missing with the new layout thus far is the ability to distinguish which comments and articles one has already perused. In the old layout, visited internal (and external) links in the sidebar turned a different color, allowing for keeping track of them more easily. In the new layout, I see no such equivalent way to track where one left off.
All of the minor party and independent candidate petitions have been challenged in New York. There is apparently a part two of the challenge filing process deadline this coming Friday for specific things wrong with the petition signatures. Assuming this gets filed against all of the candidates, I expect that all of them, including Larry Sharpe, will get knocked off the ballot, as none of them submitted that many extra signatures for padding.
It’s the same theme we used for A3PR in 2014.
Morey,
Readership is something that you can recover. Good articles help. Polite discussion helps.
George
New WP theme and Lato replacing Open Sans. IPR is really shaking things up aesthetically.
George, you’ve hinted a couple of times about upcoming changes here. Are you buying IPR? If so, why? There isn’t much readership left.
Per RRHElections, former Alliance Party VP nominee and briefly National Chair Darcy Richardson is running for Mayor of Jacksonville, Florida. He gets the “perennial candidate” moniker from them.
The Delaware State elections board ruled in favor of the Mises faction of the Delaware state party, or so it is reported on the LNC public list.
AF#4240 | Decided by a vote of 4-0 to: (1) find reason to believe that MISES PAC, and BURTON, KYLE in their official capacity as treasurer, violated 52 U.S.C. § 30104(a) and make a preliminary determination that the civil money penalty would be the amount [$7,907] indicated on the report; (2) send the appropriate letter. Commissioners Dickerson, Trainor,Walther, and Weintraub voted affirmatively for the decision. Commissioners Broussard and Cooksey did not vote.

Corrupt scum! Cowards! Where’s Caryn Ann Harlos when you need her?
Way to go, Mises PAC. A nearly $8k fine. Okay, so Kyle Burton apparently doesn’t know what he’s doing when it comes to FEC filings. I hope for the party’s sake that Todd Hagopian does.
Yes, the FEC is watching

and type “Mises” as the word/phrase search target. I have no comment on what the final outcome may yet be.
Nick Sarwark is now engaged in a full on assault on Ron Paul and his supporters. He even retweeted someone calling Paul an “alt-right Trump supporter.” He sounds angry. Perhaps he should play some They Might Be Giants, I think they have a new tape out.

Running for office as a Libertarian is already hard.
But I’ve just received confirmation that
@nsarwark
will be attempting to run additional candidates against those officially endorsed by
@LPNH
.

Bob, if you get Vermin Supreme to do a live re-enactment of that scene I put in a $20 bid for a pay-per=view broadcast of it.
Tucker Carlson just read Spike Cohen’s tweet on the air:
“The US government has been arming Ukraine, because they’re allies.
“The US government has been seeking to disarm Russia, because they’re opponents.
“In totally unrelated news, the US government seeks to disarm you.”

Sad but true :

In light of Ross’ post, I recommend the “Not a Real Libertarian” podcast.
https://anchor.fm/notareallibertarian/
Considering Vermin Supreme was a fake libertarian to begin with, that’s actually a win.
This seems worthy of its own post. Vermin Supreme resigns from the libertarian party judicial committee after the libertarian party removed opposition to bigotry from its platform:
Judge Vermin (drama) season finale
Dear somewhat esteemed members of the Libertarian Party.
I the Honorable justice Vermin Supreme hereby and forthwith and other similar words
DO tender (my tender) resignation from the judicial committee of the LP.
The results of the present convention’s elections indicates my esteemed status as a
black robed justice may be diminished in a party wishing to be more welcoming to those
in the white robe crowd.
Bigotry IS irrational and repugnant.
With that Judge Vermin removed his robe for the last time.
Naked, except for three neckties and the boot on his head,
Judge Vermin set his highly flammable robe aflame, swinging it around.
He hurled it over the bench onto his chair.
The chair burst into flames and then the curtains.
The entire courtroom was soon engulfed in flames.
Judge Vermin, having grabbed his long gun from behind the burning bench, began
laughing maniacally as he spun around the room firing short bursts at the fire, trying to shoot it out apparently.
“THIS IS FINE !! THIS IS FINE !!”, he screamed as a burning beam fell from the ceiling crushing him dead.
His last words before dying will always be remembered, “ Eh, maybe drama is greater than bylaws…”
“Soon there will be big news about IPR, perhaps in the next few weeks.” – George Phillies
Is Austin selling it to you?
IPR had a roving correspondent at the first meeting of the new LNC. We expect to have his report in a few days.
Soon there will be big news about IPR, perhaps in the next few weeks.
The LPNH Reconstitute faction, as opposed to the LNC-recognized faction, is about to have its statewide ticket filled, at which point they will start petitioning for the 2022 election.
