Reform Party to Make Multiple Endorsements for 2026 General Election

The Reform Party announced in recent online remarks that it intends to endorse multiple candidates in the 2026 election cycle, with party leadership suggesting the organization has already spoken with half a dozen individuals.

In a February 26 statement shared on social media, the party said it plans to back multiple candidates this year, with additional details to be published later in the cycle. “The Democrats and Republicans have spent decades mismanaging the country for their own gain,” the party wrote. “The Reform Party of the United States is tired of their nonsense. Let’s start voting the bums out!”

In a follow-up response to the statement, Nick Hensley, chair of the Reform National Committee, expanded on the party’s plans, stating that it has already confirmed three endorsements. He added that national leadership is actively working to vet three more candidates by the end of the week.

In recent cycles, the Reform Party has endorsed a mix of independent candidates, individuals running in nonpartisan races, and some affiliated with other political parties. In 2025, the party endorsed Joseph Hernandez in his independent bid for New York City mayor, as well as a local Illinois candidate who ran for both a library board trustee position and a board of education seat.

During the 2024 cycle, the party published a list of 16 candidates running with its endorsement, including several nominees of the Independence-Alliance Party from various states and the independent presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The Reform Party initially provided Kennedy with its ballot line in Florida and continued to support him after he withdrew from the race and endorsed Donald Trump.
