One of the stories IPR has been covering lately is the nomination battle for Governor by the Libertarian Party of New York. For an index of past articles, see
https://independentpoliticalreport.com/?s=kristin+davis
and
https://independentpoliticalreport.com/?s=warren+redlich
That nomination will be decided today.
For additional details about the convention (if you are reading this on the day it is posted) see http://ny.lp.org/.
Eric Sundwall has previously told me that he would be broadcasting the convention at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/capital-outsider, and granted IPR permission to embed it as well. However, the computer I am on has ustream.tv blocked, so I would appreciate help from one of the other IPR writers in editing this post to embed it. In the meantime, those of you who don’t have ustream blocked can go to Capital Outsider (linked above) to view the proceedings.

Brian,
Thanks for forwarding my text messages here. I was unable to get an internet signal at my motel, had to wait for the city library to open at 1 pm today.
Paulie’s source at the LPGA convention reports that Hinkle won the Chair straw poll on the 3rd or 4th ballot. Hinkle was the only candidate in attendance, and Root sent a video.
Last night I called the Troy Record at 12:45 to ask if they were going to be covering this. They guy who answered took a minute to confir with someone else. Then he got back on any said “We’ll, uh, we’ll get it off the AP.” He sounded like we was waiting for me to press him on the matter. But I had nothin. So I just told him to please do that, and hung up.
