If anyone wants the embed code for other blogs, I see it on the bottom of the video in the new IPR article, or I can forward you the email Mike sent me with it.

  2. paulie April 12, 2015

Already got it and posted the new article with video, but thanks Jill 🙂

Well, I just went to the CSpan page to see if I was remembering the cost of the DVD correctly, and I see there’s an embed code. However, my computer won’t copy the code. I’ll keep trying–

CSpan may not allow its videos to be embedded. It looks like they’re selling a DVD of it for $24.99.

See article in pingback above for the video…

I’ve embedded other sources besides YT before. Usually I can find it in source code or somewhere in or around the video, but not always.

I think we can only embed YouTube videos. I had the same problem trying to embed the clip of Johnson on MSNBC, until somebody uploaded it to YT.

Just watched it BTW..not quite live as I had hoped to, but then again finding an open phone line at CSPAN is damn near impossible as I recall. Great job Nick!

  9. paulie April 12, 2015

Haven’t figured out how to embed that here yet. Anyone know?

  10. paulie April 12, 2015

Yes, CSPAN does have live video.

And no, it doesn’t work here.

Hopefully I can see video later.

  11. paulie April 12, 2015

Nope, no CSPAN on TV. Next to the web. Fingers crossed…

As an aside: yes, I have a lot of HBOs, but damn, the picture is all fuzzy and all kinds of screwed up. Grrrr.

  12. paulie April 12, 2015

On the plus side it looks like I have like 8 HBO channels. If that is actually true I will have no problem catching Game of Thrones season premiere tonight 🙂

Almost no sleep, ballot access committee call at 11 or noon (I’ll have to check), somewhere in there I should at least in theory try to get out and work a bit and/or eat… yeah, we’ll see how that goes. Thank Allah for coffee….

There’s a channel listing thing on the night stand and I don’t see CSPAN. I’ll click thru the channels to see if they have changed their channel lineup since they printed that and added it, and then do a web search to see if CSPAN streams, and then if they do, see if the wifi here will be fast enough to watch it on the computer (I doubt it). Hopefully there will be repostable video afterwards.

I’ll try to tune in. I actually haven’t watched any TV since I have been at this motel (3 weeks +) so I’ll have to see if it’s in my channels.

    Great news. Love this program.

Probably doesn’t hurt that Brian Lamb is a libertarian (if not a Libertarian). Though their journalistic ethics have more to do with it I’m sure, they’ve always been pretty fair and decent to the LP. I’m sure Sarwark will do great.

The nice thing about C-SPAN, which started covering our conventions when I was a Harry Browne delegate in ’96, is that it has always positioned itself as non-partisan (as opposed to bi-partisan).

Consequently, it has been very fair in its coverage, as opposed to the mainstream press which generally is complicit with the two big parties.

I know that Nick will do a terrific job presenting the Libertarian argument for a free society in this unfree world.

    I agree.

  19. NewFederalist April 10, 2015

From what I have seen of his posting here, I suspect he will do an excellent job.

    Outstanding!
