In a French-language piece published at Mediapart.fr, Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein criticizes the U.S. political system and the presidential campaigns of the Democratic and Republican parties.
Stein said the candidates are either backed by billionaires or are billionaires themselves, and that they are beholden to banks, arms merchants, and the oil industry. Stein also said the primary debates are not real debates but are a form of reality television in which candidates try to deceive, rather than inform, the public.
