Judging from the photo used in the article, this might not have been Mr. Barr’s first choice for employment.
I have a feeling Barr will end up like the Paul Ford character in the 60’s movie based on the Graham Greene novel “The Comedians”. In that movie Ford played the former presidential nominee of the United States Vegetarian Party traveling to Haiti seeking opportunities to manufacture health products.
I guess if Barr is really hard up he can always do another Borat movie. Maybe team up with another Borat co-star, Alan Keyes.
Believe it or not, I actually support private arbitration also, though not getting rid of the government courts.
I am glad to see private arbitration get some publicity. Libertarians have long promoted private arbitration as an alternative to government courts.
When Dave Hollist ran for the LP nomination for President on a platform of funding the government through contract insurance, I pointed out that if government contract insurance were expensive enough to fund other government functions, business would turn to arbitration to avoid high government fees. He had not heard of it.
