Judge Gray Announces for VP, Gary Johnson Endorses

Judge Jim Gray has officially announced his intention to seek the Vice Presidential nomination of the Libertarian Party at their national convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, this weekend. His statement follows in full:

Dear Convention Delegates:

In 2001 I first met Gary Johnson when he, as a sitting governor of the State of New Mexico, endorsed the original edition of my book, which is entitled “Why Our Drug Laws Have Failed and What We Can Do About It: A Judicial Indictment of the War on Drugs” (Temple University Press, 2d edition, 2012).

Judge Jim Gray on Illegal Immigration

Judge Jim Gray, who was elected to the National Libertarian Party’s Judicial Committee yesterday, published an article concerning illegal immigration today.

OK, let’s calm down and see these recent developments in Arizona and even the city of Costa Mesa for what they really are. They have little or nothing to do with racism and everything to do with legitimate frustration, and even desperation, about the entire situation with illegal immigrants (or undocumented workers, if you prefer).

Last Day of LP National Convention, Meeting of New LNC

The last day of the National Convention consisted of the last officer elections and, after the convention was adjourned, a meeting of the new Libertarian National Committee.
