On Thursday, December 4th Don Brantz of Glenwood was nominated by the Libertarian Party of Iowa to run for the vacant State Senate District 12 special election that will be held on December 30th. The special election was declared by Governor Branstad after Joni Ernst announced her resignation from the Iowa Senate after winning the United States Senate election in November.
Senate District 12 covers Fremont, Mills,Montgomery, Page, Ringgold, and Taylor counties.
