Okay, I’m convinced Mrs. Clinton shouldn’t be President. Now I’m also convinced Mr. Petersen shouldn’t be either.

Wow. Every video is progressively (sic) worse. Was he sober during this one?
Austin: wake up. You read IPR, or at least your staff does. You are LOSING supporters every time you act like a frat boy in a video.

You missed the “libertarian pick-up lines” one.
Which would have been fine just for a cute popular level piece. I like watching cute girls giving humorous presentations. Totally inappropriate for a presidential campaign feed.
He has yet to distinguish the difference between a campaign and Joe on the Street libertarian fun and party, party, party.
He likes to say, well it is drawing in the young crowd. But unfortunately, there already is a pretty big difference between his paleo-ish whoo-hoo schtick and the up and coming generation who have a slightly more left-libertarian outlook, and he still has to draw in the older audience (or more mature audience) and thus is failing at both. IMHO.

You are both assuming he is trying to get the LP presidential nomination. Judging from his actions, I think his actual goal is to increase his Facebook likes / Twitter followers.

I’m not sure what his goal is. I talked to him for a bit back in October, and he sounded much more serious about running.
You may be correct. His goal may not actually be to get the nomination.

Yeah, he told me that too. Actions speak louder than words.

There is no reason it can’t be both.

“presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party” No, you aren’t. You are seeking the nomination. Stop misrepresenting yourself to the public. He’s not the first over the years to try to blur the distinction. I’ve had to deal with more than one person saying “I saw your candidate and he’s a nut” and had to explain the person is not yet the candidate, nor likely to be the candidate. These potential nominees look very untrustworthy, and egotistical, when they pretend to have already won the nomination.

Whatever you think of their quality or tone or the overall tone of Mr. Petersen’s campaign so far, he should get some credit in being proactive in putting out a lot of these videos. The other campaigns for the LP nomination would be well served to do the same thing, with their own unique spin of course.
