Harry Bertram of West Virginia announced he was running for the Senate In District 13.
Representing 17 senatorial districts, the Senate is comprised of 34 members – 24 Democrats and 10 Republicans. Senators serve four-year terms with half of those seats up for election every two years.

The 34 member West Virginia Senate is broken into 17 districts with two members each. The Senators are elected to staggered 4-year terms which means that half of the 81st Legislature’s Senators still represent the 2000 year census district alignments. In 2015, at the start of the 82nd Legislature, all Senators will represent the 2010 year census districts upon their elections or re-elections.
Senate District 13 comprises parts of Monongalia County and Marion County after the recent redistricting.

Yep. They do fascinate me though. There’ve been a number of Neo-Nazi, skinhead, & white nationalist “parties” in the U.S., but they’re the first in a while that have actually fielded real candidates. Activism is an important function of a political party, but so is running candidates & challenging the system.

The AFP has published articles favorable to Golden Shower. They seem to be trying to attract both real, genuine, hardcore racists/racialists, and conservatives who are uncomfortable with all the brown people & the like terking our jerbs.

I think paulie hit the nail on the head. Every district has an “other” group in each district. Districts do have majority white, like Christopher states, I haven’t seen, or found, on the internet a white only district. Today, in Greece, Golden Dawn wants Greece for the Greeks only. This is impossible because of “other” groups that live and intermarry. Germany is the extreme example of having German only and that didn’t quite work even by trying to deport(and later kill) the “other” between 1933-1945. Today, Germany is not 100% German, and no country is 100% whatever the majority is. Plus, I give kudos to Mr. Bertram to challenging the D’s and R’s. CNN and the rest of MSM can jump off a cliff for all I care, by the way..
We can’t stipulate to that since that is precisely what his question was. Read it again; it wasn’t ambiguous.
“Is this district what his party believes in, a white only district?” This is not a question. This is a statement. The MSM uses this ? technique all the time. The fact is that what ever district Bertram runs in WV the district would be 95% white.
We can both stipulate that johnO question did not pertain to whether the district was 100% white. So… we can simply wait and have him respond.

In response to johnO Why use ? marks when a period is sufficient. If you do not like the AFP just say so. Harry Bertram received no more or less votes than the average Libertarian, Green, Constitution or Independent candidate.
Every WV district is a white district. As is every Vermont, Maine, and Nebraska district.

All good questions, we’ll have to wait & see if any other candidates enter this race. I normally don’t keep up with state legislative district races, but I’m always glad to see smaller parties running candidates & doing real electoral work, even if I vehemently disagree with them.
While being a white nationalist political party, they maintain that they are not a whites-only party, and are open & accepting to non-whites who are sympathetic to their cause.
Bertram is probably the most active AFP candidate. He was previously the AFP’s first ever ballot-qualified candidate when he ran for governor in 2011. In 2012 he ran for state house, and was also on the ballot as the vice-presidential candidate in Colorado and New Jersey (despite Virginia Abernethy being nominated at the convention).
Will he do as badly as before? How many other parties are running candidates? Is this district what his party believes in, a white only district?
