Jim Duensing, former LP Nevada State Chair, former LSLA chair, and former candidate for the 2012 Libertarian Presidential nomination

has filed as one of two candidates for Clark County Nevada District Attorney.
As recorded on the Clark County Nevada election website, Libertarian Duensing is the only alternative to the current Democratic incumbent, DA Steven Wolfson.

In late October 2009, Duensing was shot three times by Las Vegas police, following a routine traffic stop. Details of the shooting can be found in a 03 November 2009 Las Vegas Review Journal Article HERE

On 18 March 2014, in an article titled,
“Shot by police in traffic stop, lawyer runs for DA; his felony trial and election are a week apart,”
the American Bar Association Journal reported:
“It isn’t clear whether (the current Clark County DA, Steve Wolfson’s) office will continue to prosecute Duensing, given the apparent conflict of interest that may now exist.”

I am not sure what kind of marketing strategy this would fall under, but someone running for this post and has that kind of relationship with the police is bound for nothingness.
Political marketing is about image. You use a symbol to promote a sensation or feeling in the viewer. I am not sure if this photo should be used to instill faith in his abilities. The DA is supposed to be a county’s top cop. The symbolism could lead voters to many untrue conclusions. Poor choice of photo.”
I disagree. This is a perfect photo if he is running under a platform of curbing police abuse and corruption.
Has he said anything about prosecuting a RICO case against the BLM, the Reid family and/or the Communist Chinese?
I just used it because it is the only photo of him in the IPR library. It’s not a photo (as far as I know) that he is using in his campaign.
1. The Boston Tea Party belonged to Thomas Knapp (In website and name)
2. Darryl publicly stated that the level of activity dictated that the party had no purpose.
3. It had lost ballot access even in Florida

The party collapsed because Duensing had no interest in coordinating ballot access drives to get his name on the ballot. Darryl disbanded the party as chairman. Ogle claims it still exists.
Two way races like this are races where Libertarians around the country ought to support.
Also of note, Duensing was the nominee of the Boston Tea Party for President in 2012, after Tiffany Briscoe was removed from the ticket, and before the party collapsed.
