Larry King, Legendary Interviewer Who Often Hosted Minor Party Candidates, Has Passed Away

Legendary TV host and interviewer Larry King has died today at the age of 87.  A cause of death has not been announced, although King was reported to have been battling COVID-19 earlier this month.

King crossed paths with many third party candidates during his long career as a TV interviewer, perhaps most famously allowing his show to be used as a platform by billionaire Ross Perot to launch his 1992 presidential campaign.… Read more ...

Brendan Kelly, Former NH Libertarian Chairman and Elected Official, Has Passed Away

Brendan Kelly, a former chairman of the New Hampshire Libertarian Party and a 2012 congressional candidate, has passed away at the age of 80 following a 5 year battle with cancer.

Kelly was an elected Selectman in the town of Seabrook for six years and mounted three unsuccessful bids for a seat in the New Hampshire state house between 2008 and 2011.… Read more ...

WSJ: In Final Hours President Trump Ponders Leaving GOP, Building a New ‘Patriot Party’

The Wall Street Journal is reporting this evening that President Trump “has talked in recent days with associates about forming a new political party.” The President, who leaves office in a matter of hours, reportedly wishes to call his new venture the Patriot Party.

Any such split in the Republican Party would likely prove devastating to the GOP in the 2022 midterm elections and potentially prompt the biggest reshuffling of the political deck since the 1800s.… Read more ...

American Solidarity Party Member Appointed to Local Council Office in Ohio

The American Solidarity Party of Ohio has announced that Christopher Zehnder, a former Vice-Chairman of the party, has been appointed to a seat on the Hartford, Ohio village council.  Hartford is a small community with about 400 residents located in the center of the state.

Former LP Vice-Presidential Nominee Spike Cohen Appears on ‘Kennedy’ to Discuss Capitol Riots


Former Vice-Presidential candidate Spike Cohen appeared Thursday on the FOX Business channel’s “Kennedy” to discuss what the fallout may be from the Capitol riots of January 6.

New York Greens Call on Cuomo to Embrace a ‘Progressive Agenda’ in Coming Year

The Green Party of New York has called on Governor Andrew Cuomo to embrace “a progressive agenda for 2021, including Taxing the Rich to fund a Green New Deal COVID relief package, enactment of single payer health care, and passage of long-delayed marijuana legalization including reinvestment in impacted communities.”
