The presidential campaign of Party for Socialism and Liberation nominee Claudia De la Cruz announced over the weekend that it has entered into a multi-state cooperative agreement with the campaigns of Green Party nominee Dr. Jill Stein and independent candidate Dr. Cornel West.
The De la Cruz campaign first announced a partnership with the West campaign during a moderated video discussion on Saturday. In the discussion, De la Cruz, West, his running mate Dr. Melina Abdullah, and a coordinator from the De la Cruz campaign outlined the partnership as a way for their supporters to maximize their influence. The two campaigns described themselves as “united by shared values like ending genocide and war, a deep commitment to Black liberation, and the determination to build an alternative outside the corporate two-party system.”
As part of the arrangement, the De la Cruz campaign is urging its supporters to back the West-Abdullah ticket in Alaska, while the West campaign encourages its supporters to support the Socialism and Liberation ticket of De la Cruz and running mate Karina Garcia in Florida, Hawaii, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
Although Stein did not participate in the initial discussion, the De la Cruz campaign later announced a similar partnership with her campaign that same day. In a social media statement, the De la Cruz campaign explained that both campaigns are encouraging their supporters to vote for each other’s tickets in several key states, to “send the strongest possible message that people are fed up with the war machine, genocide against Palestinians, and the other injustices that characterize this system dominated by the billionaire class[.]”
As with the partnership with the West campaign, the De la Cruz campaign is asking its supporters to back the Green ticket of Jill Stein and Butch Ware in Montana and Arkansas. In return, Stein’s campaign is calling on her supporters to write in De la Cruz’s name on ballots in Indiana and North Dakota.
Going into Tuesday’s election, Stein has ballot access in 38 states (including Ohio), De la Cruz in 19 states, and West in 15 states. These totals exclude states where the campaigns are certified as recognized write-in options.

Wasn’t she having a bitch-fight with Stein just the other week? Oh wait no, that was a different clone from the same batch.
And, personally, I voted for the Commie: https://socraticgadfly.substack.com/p/i-voted-for-the-commie
Yeah, it’s like butt-hurt editorial page staffers at the Bezos Post and LA Behind the Times: Way too late. https://socraticgadfly.blogspot.com/2024/10/butt-hurt-editorial-staffers-and-butt.html
Ok, but with already more than 55 million early votes already done, it is too much late…
