LP: Giving thanks for Libertarian wins this holiday

The struggle is REAL…

…the struggle to vote, the struggle to run, the struggle not to give up hope. The struggle to be heard when the old parties dominate the conversation and control far too many aspects of our lives. Libertarian Party Legal Update 2019-11-21

Hearing scheduled this Friday, November 22

It is without doubt that the Libertarian National Committee has maintained a commitment to stand firm with Americans across the country when necessary to challenge government overreach.  Our Founding Fathers very intentionally incorporated personal liberty into documents establishing the United States of America, and those fundamental rights deserve to be protected at all costs.… Read more ...

“Third-parties have no chance of winning!” -Way too many voters in Arkansas

Admittedly, this indubitably frustrating refrain echoes on the lips of thousands of Arkansas voters every election. Any time a third-party candidate asks for a vote, with a dreadful certainty, this rejoinder is ripped quickly from its sheath and enthusiastically deployed in parrying any thoughts of winning an election that may have been dancing in the minds of third-party candidates.… Read more ...

Voting and Attendance Records for the Libertarian National Committee Members 2016-2018 Term, Compiled by Chuck Moulton

Long-time Libertarian activist Chuck Moulton has taken the time to compile the voting records, both roll-call and email, for the members of the Libertarian National Committee for the past two-year term. Joshua Smith’s Normal Blue-Collar American Problems

This post originally appeared on 71 Republic, who pulled it down hours later with this statement. Its author, Paul Grindle archived it here, from which IPR pulled it for this post. As an aside, 71 Republic’s defensive assertion that “the victor should be selected on the basis of their ideology” after promoting Smith previously here is curious in the context of a currently running series in favor of libertarian monarchism.Read more ...
