From the candidate, via IPR on Facebook:
Economist and independent candidate Farid Khavari supports medical marijuana and full legalization as well.
He is the only candidate who points out the crucial role of the governor in implementing medical marijuana according to the terms of Amendment 2.
The Amendment says that the Department of Health (which reports to the governor) is to make the rules and get medical marijuana out there in 6 months—or after 9 months of not doing it, any person in Florida can sue the state—so if a governor decides to drag his feet, it could take years for the people to get what they want.
The Amendment also says the legislature can jump in, and we’ve seen what Republican medical marijuana rules look like.
Khavari promises to veto any legislation that interferes with medical marijuana or any attempt to allow big business into marijuana in Florida. He pledges to force the Dept. of Health to put out sensible rules and have medical marijuana in Florida within 6 months, with sensible regulations but without ridiculous requirements for doctors or patients.

SHARE & VOTE KHAVARI for Governor and YES on 2.

As expected, Wyllie beat the NPAs. His final numbers were better than Mike Kane predicted, but not as good as the guess that I hazarded.
Yeah, it was the latter. Thanks for the insight. I guess we’ll know for sure in 22 hours or so.
I think it was probably the latter question and I think you are correct.
Wyllie is third on the ballot, if that’s the question of “stacking” the candidates. If it’s a polling situation, Khavari and the other NPA candidate haven’t really been included. But it seems extremely likely that Adrian Wyllie will outpoll both of the no party candidates by a large margin.
Based on what I have seen Wyllie is in third. I guess we’ll see on Tuesday.
He is the man for FL
Does anyone have a handle on where the non R and D candidates stack up in FL? Is this guy number 3? Or, is it Wyllie, or someone else?
Khavari is so on track on this. Republican Governor Jan Brewer prevented the voter approved Arizona Medical Marijuana Act of 2010 from being implemented for more than a year. http://ballotpedia.org/Arizona_Medical_Marijuana_Question,_Proposition_203_(2010)
