At its National Convention online today, the Constitution Party nominated former Massey Energy CEO Don Blankenship for President on the second ballot. William Mohr was nominated unanimously for vice president.

The city of St. Louis, Missouri has banned any public gatherings of more than fifty people due to the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, unless the ban is lifted before the planned Constitution Party National Convention on April 29 through May 2, the Convention will not be able to go forward.

According to the results posted on the State of Idaho Elections Department website, Don Blankenship leads with 237 votes (27.37%). The website does not show what percentage of the vote has been published.
